Hamburg Tourism relies on freshcells for the redesign of its booking journeys
Düsseldorf, October 2025 – freshcells systems engineering GmbH is strategically expanding its commitment to tourism e-commerce by engaging with destination management organizations (DMOs) and announces its collaboration with Hamburg Tourismus GmbH.
The aim of the project is the complete redesign of the booking journeys on the digital sales platform for hotels, bookable experiences, combined travel packages (e.g., hotels with musical tickets or including rail travel), as well as the Hamburg Card. freshcells has been commissioned with the UI/UX concept and will also identify technical opportunities to boost sales and optimize product management. freshcells’ expertise in technical and design conception, as well as in developing powerful, flexible, and scalable e-commerce platforms, plays a decisive role in this project. The company specializes in the analysis, UI/UX design, and optimization of system landscapes, particularly in tourism e-commerce. Its development of system architectures that integrate heterogeneous data sources and services enables the digital transformation and modernization of sales channels and IT systems.
