Düsseldorf, August 14, 2024 – Following the recent acquisition of 70 Galeria travel agencies, ADAC Reisen, one of Germany's leading travel providers, together with the Düsseldorf-based software and consulting company freshcells, has successfully completed the integration of Galeria Reisen into its digital infrastructure. ADAC Reisen now operates a total of 240 travel agencies across Germany.
As part of this integration, the domains
www.galeria-reisen.de and
www.urlaub.de were integrated into the existing ADAC Reisen platform and expanded with additional functions and modules, from which all brands on the platform now benefit. This is based on freshcells' white-label technology anchored in
TravelSandbox®.
In addition, the omnichannel concept developed by freshcells, which optimally connects stationary sales in travel agencies with digital offerings, is now also being used for Galeria Reisen. As a result, not only the new brands – Galeria Reisen and Urlaub.de – but also ADAC Reisen – benefit from a uniform, efficient platform that meets the modern requirements of omnichannel travel distribution.
Within a very short time after the takeover was announced, the project was successfully implemented, completely replacing the existing solutions of Galeria Reisen and Urlaub.de. This fast and effective integration underscores the flexibility and performance of the
TravelSandbox® platform. It enables ADAC Reisen to react quickly to market changes, as the technology can be dynamically adapted to changing business strategies.
